ABOUT US
Mishka and Sarah are a husband and wife team, living in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland, Australia.
Mishka is a very handy man to have around. He can make something amazing out of anything he can get his hands on. This comes back to growing up on a rural farm, you make do with what you have at hand.
He has a background in the automotive field but is a Jack of all trades.
Mishka loves metalwork and has a keen interest in insects - this is where his love of the two comes together. Creating creatures from up-cycled automotive, electrical, and industrial waste - anything that is destined for landfill.
All products are one-offs, subject to the availability of recycled materials.
Sarah grew up watching her mum sewing garments and home furnishings, so has always appreciated handmade items.
She also enjoys creating things with her own hands. Her main passions are sewing, quilting and crocheting.
Her productions are predominantly made using fabric remnants or fabric that was salvaged, so items are limited.

Whether its scrap computer parts or left over pieces of fabric, we aim to create our products using as close to 100% of recycled items.

Rather than having items go to land fill we help reuse them into amazing works and handy pieces for everyday living.
Hence repurposing what was once considered trash.

In addition to this we pay respect to the craft of reusing, by ensuring that we apply strong joins to our insect limbs, taking care to round of sharp edges and allowing nature to be represented accurately in our creations.
With our sewn items, we are passionate about creating pieces that are fit to function and serve a daily purpose. Therefore we take the time to ensure correct cutting, stitching and edging is done on every product.
Being that most of our range is created using one-off's. We are able to provide a unique creation that not only speaks for itself but becomes the topic of many conversations.
